Every Sunday morning, the Ripley First United Methodist family of faith gathers for worship. The goal of every service is to draw people to Christ so that lives may be renewed and hearts restored. Together we gather in the presence of God to offer our prayers and praise to God through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Sunday Morning Worship Services – 11 a.m.
Holy Communion is observed the first Sunday of each month at the 11 a.m. worship. On most every other Sundays, Holy Communion is offered in the sanctuary at a brief service at 9:15 a.m. In the spirit of the United Methodist tradition, the table is open to all who desire to draw nearer to God no matter where they are on their journey of faith nor where their church membership is held.
Children are an important part of our worshiping community. Each Sunday, a special time is set aside during the service to focus on the children. All children are welcomed with open arms in every aspect of our worship.
Special worship opportunities are offered throughout the seasons of the church year: Ash Wednesday Service of Prayer; Holy Week Services; Easter Cantatas, Hanging of the Greens Service in Advent, Community Advent Walk, Christmas Cantatas and Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion. Please check our website for special worship opportunities.
